Has been working great for the last few years. Now it keeps disconnecting after 1-2 minutes
I give it 3 stars because of how much of a pain it is to set up on Ubuntu linux, it's not hard to set up, just a pain. Ok here goes; it doesn't like usb3 so no connection on anything but USB 2 or USB (if you still have USB), which is not discussed in documentation at all (I fought for a week to get this working). Bluetooth straight doesn't work no matter what I did. Ping also doesn't work so can't rely on that to check connection. You have to type the extra steps commands every connection.
Worked great on my evo 2010. We'll that was 5 or 6 phones ago. Easytether has easily saved me thousands and thousands of dollars over the years would be lost with it. The best 9.99 I've ever spent!
Works with Debian 11 if u Jimmy the connection with a vpn
Had this app since way back when it cost $14.99 works like a champ
Galaxy s21+ with Android 12 on Verizon. Using it daily, on several different phones over the years, so that I don't have to use the office's Internet to listen to music or watch movies at lunch. I have not had any issues using USB tethering. I do have to reauthorize the USB connection when switching from Ubuntu 20.04 to Windows 10, but I don't do that very often. I also have to use the terminal to start it in Ubuntu, but that's not an issue at all for me. It's paid for itself many times over!
Connection is fast and stable and when paired with my GLiNet Slate, it basically gives me a full fledged WiFi hotspot without having to pay for a separate and expensive data plan.
Ahead of its time.
Works well on Ubuntu 20.04. My question is will there be an update in computer side package for 22.04?
I can not get this to work for me and I have emailed them days ago and I have not received a response. I have a chromebook and I can not get it to connect. I spent 9.99 on this for nothing. I would like it to work or to get my money back. But I can not get anyone to respond to me.
